Our Mission

Our mission is to promote investment into the region and work with the businesses of Southwest New Mexico to foster economic development in this area.

The Gila Economic Development Alliance serves as the primary economic development organization for Grant County and the Silver City area. We work collaboratively with local businesses, government entities, and community organizations to create a thriving economic environment.

Our focus areas include:

• Business recruitment and retention
• Site selection assistance
• Workforce development support
• Infrastructure development coordination
• Small business counseling and support
• Regional marketing and promotion

Through these efforts, we aim to create sustainable economic growth while preserving the unique character and quality of life that makes Southwest New Mexico special.
