What we publish

Three things: plain-English guides to taxes, licenses, and incentives; public data with sources; and small tools like the GRT rate lookup. We aim to answer the question you searched for within seconds, and to be worth bookmarking.

We write for small business owners in the region, people considering a move here, and anyone in New Mexico trying to make sense of gross receipts tax.

Editorial and data policy

• Every data claim cites a named public source and shows a last-updated date.
• We favor primary sources: statutes, agency schedules, Census tables.
• When we are not sure, we say so, and we link to the official source.
• Corrections are welcomed and published. Use the contact form.
• No paid placements. Nothing on this site is tax or legal advice.
