AEW Rampage live results, open thread: Serena Deeb vs. Mina Shirakawa (2024)

Here’s a place to check results and comment along with a new episode of AEW Rampage, airing tonight in its regular time slot of 10 pm ET on TNT.

The June 7 edition of Rampage comes our way on tape from Blue Arena in Loveland, Colorado (spoilers are here, if you’re interested - and if you are and choose to discuss them in the comments, please use the spoiler tag).

Advertised for tonight: Stardom wrestler Mina Shirakawa goes one-on-one with Serena Deeb in the main event.

Also on the card: Penta El Zero Miedo vs. The Butcher, The Acclaimed in action, Gates of Agony vs. Private Party, the Bang Bang Gang is in trios action, and more!

AEW RAMPAGE RESULTS FOR JUNE 7

  • Rampage kicks off with Penta El Zero Miedo making his entrance for the opening match.
  • Penta El Zero Miedo defeats The Butcher. Butcher drops Penta with a haymaker when he does the No Fear taunt. Alex Abrahantes takes a spill in the early going and the medical team is called in to check on him. Penta is distracted by that and Butcher takes full control of the match heading into the commercial break. Penta comes back after the break with consecutive sling blades for a two count. He gets another two count on a backstabber. Butcher hits a half nelson into a back breaker for a two count. He goes for another, but Penta slips behind him and puts Butcher away with Fear Factor for the three count.
  • The Learning Tree Chris Jericho makes his entrance, accompanied by Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Jericho makes his way to the commentary table where he lectures Matt Menard on how to properly do the job. Thanks guys! Jericho walks off as Keith glares at Daddy Magic.
  • The Acclaimed make their entrance with Daddy Ass. Max Caster compares their opponents to Jan. 6 rioters during his rap. Scissor me, Daddy Ass!
  • The Acclaimed defeat Hunter Grey & Parviz. The jobbers get the early jump on The Acclaimed, but Caster quickly drives grey down to the mat. Caster his the mic drop for the three count in a very short match. They engage in three way scissoring with Daddy Ass after the match.
  • Shane Taylor Promotions cut a promo on Top Flight and Action Andretti, making fun of the Martin brothers for always being injured.
  • Gates of Agony defeat Private Party. Excalibur plugs Wooooo! Energy in the early going. Kassidy goes the high risk route with a swanton to the outside to take charge after the commercial break. Agony comes back with the sandwich lariat for a two count. Liona misses a Vader Bomb, leading to a 450 splash from Isiah. Quen follows up with a shooting star press, but Bishop Kaun breaks up the pin attempt. Gates of Agony quickly recover and put Kassidy away with a devastating tandem powerbomb for the three count.
  • There’s a video package where Toni Storm cuts a promo on Lady Frost ahead of their match tomorrow on Collision.
  • Juice Robinson & The Gunns defeat Chris Wilde, Tyler Payne & Caleb Crush. Juice tags right in and runs through the jobbers, with no signs of ring rust. He hits his finisher and wins the match all by himself for his team.
  • Jay White cuts a promo after the match. The Bang Bang Gang / Bullet Club Gold is back at full strength now that Rock Hard Juice Robinson is healthy. Jay anoints Juice as one quarter of the AEW Unified World Trios Champions as they drape him in gold. If you’re not down with that, they’ve got two words for you. Guns up!
  • Mina Shirakawa defeats Serena Deeb. Deeb traps Mina in the paradise lock and sits on her. Mina is back up and knocks Serena down with a kick to the back of the leg. She hammers down on the inside of Deeb’s knee. Serena is heavily favoring her left knee. She catches Mina with a neck breaker across the middle rope as we go to commercial break. Mina takes over with multiple rolling elbow strikes after the break. She goes up top and drops her knee down on Serena’s shoulder, driving her down to the mat. Serena catches Mina in a German suplex and gets a two count on a hammerlock lariat. Shirakawa locks in the Figure 4 and wrenches back on it. They trade open handed strikes until Deeb rolls towards the ropes to force a break. Deeb with a powerbomb for a near fall. Mina counters the stretch muffler, but Deeb takes her down with a chop block. Mina avoids Serena’s finisher and hits her own for the three count.
  • Mariah May runs to the ring to celebrate with Mina. Toni Storm also gets in the ring, and Mariah tries to get them to shake hands. They do shake hands and then hold the ropes open for Mariah to leave the ring. They both try to leave with Mariah as Rampage goes off the air.
